<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, the Department of Agriculture in Kashmir has taken pro-active steps for marketing of their crops in view of the the interest of the vegetable growers in the region.<br />'' <br />'' This was stated by Director Agriculture Kashmir, Altaf Aijaz Andrabi while taking a meeting of various progressive vegetable growers of Pulwama District &nbsp;at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi &nbsp;in Srinagar today.<br />'' <br />'' The Director said that department is facilitating refrigerated vans for delivering quality and fresh vegetables to the consumers at their door steps.<br />'' <br />'' The &nbsp;refrigerated vans are loaded directly from the fields of farmers from various districts of Kashmir province.<br />'' <br />'' He said that the main aim of facilitating refrigerated vans is to make prices competitive to provide relief to consumers amid covid-19 crisis and besides ensuring that the growers get maximum reach-out to the market to increase their income.<br />'' <br />''<br />''He further added that the department is committed to promote the vegetable sector of Valley for fulfilling domestic requirements and would create surplus vegetables which could be transported to national as well as international market.</span>
