In a series of tweet National Disaster Management Authority said, depression over Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a deep depression in next 24 hours and into a cyclonic storm in subsequent 24 hours. Heavy rainfall may commence over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during next 48 hours with winds with speed upto 60 kmph.
