The deposition of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist-turned-approver David Coleman Headley, through video conferencing, continues for the fourth day today at a special Mumbai court. Making fresh disclosures on the 26/11 attacks, Pakistani-American terrorist David Coleman Headley Thursday said that Ishrat Jahan, a 19-year-old student who was killed in an alleged 'fake encounter' in Gujarat in 2004, was affiliated to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Deposing before the special Mumbai court via video link from an undisclosed location in the United States, David Headley said that he had overheard some LeT operatives talking about Ishrat Jahan. He, however, denied involvement of any woman suicide bomber in LeT. On the other hand, David Headley confirmed there was a women's wing of the LeT and Abu Aiman Mazhar was the in charge.

In his deposition, Headley also exposed how ISI and LeT funded terror operations in India and financed him from time to time. He said he received several thousands in American, Indian and Pakistani currency from Pakistan's ISI, the LeT, fellow convict Dr Tahawwur Rana and his friend in the Pakistani Army Major Iqbal. He also revealed that Pakistan native Tahawwur Rana visited Mumbai before the terror strikes.
