Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said the deployment of troops in J&K was meant for foiling infiltration bids and it has nothing to do with the protests in the Kashmir Valley. He said Army does not act in internal matter unless requested by the local administration. Parrikar was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function organised to commission Indian Coast Guard ship "Sarathi" in Vasco town, near Panaji Friday.<br/><br/>Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was also present at the event, said deployment of Armymen in J&K had nothing to do with the current situation in Kashmir.<br/>
