Department of post will soon set up its own insurance company which will deal with its business of two products Postal life insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance.

Union Minister of state for Communications Manoj Sinha told media persons at Prayagraj that the proposal has been moved to Cabinet.

Mr Sinha said the target to set up Passport Seva Kendra in all Lok Sabha constituencies will be achieved by end of this month.

Earlier Mr. Sinha released a commemorative postal stamp on Second Shahi Snan holy bath of Mauni Amavasya.
