<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt has said that a Common Communication Plan for Coastal Security has been promulgated by the Department of Border Management of the Ministry of Home Affairs for coordination among various agencies for the coastal security of the country. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in Rajya Sabha today, Mr. Bhatt said, 15 agencies including Indian Coast Guard, Indian Navy, Intelligence Agencies, BSF and CISF, Customs and Immigration State Police, State Administration, DG Shipping and Narcotics Control Bureau are coordinating under the Common Communication Plan. He said, some of the major threats to Indian coastal security include illegal migrants, narcotics, smuggling, transgression of fishermen across the International Maritime Boundary Line, safety and protection of offshore terminals etc.</span><br />
