The Petroleum Minister Mr. Murli Deora has termed Bharat Bandh call given by Opposition Parties tomorrow as unjustified. In a press release issued in New Delhi today,he said this is nothing more than misleading the people as these Parties have been instrumental in notifying the deregulation of the prices of petroleum products. He said the Bandh call is not only unjustified but also against the interest common man, poor people and daily wage earners, who could be deprived of their wages, besides causing inconvenience to the public at large.<br/> <br/>Justifying the government's decision to hike the prices of petroleum productions, Mr. Deora reiterated that increased price of Kerosene by three rupees per liter resulting in an increase of only 50 paisa per day per family. The price increase of Domestic LPG by 35 rupees per cylinder means an increase of less than one rupee per day per family. He said the impact of increase on the common man who uses LPG and Kerosene as domestic fuels is negligible.<br/> <br/>AIR Correspondent reports that the government recently decontrolled the prices of Petrol and Diesel. This resulted in an increase of 3 rupees and 50 paise per liter in the price of Petrol.
