Dense to very dense fog occurred at a few places over Uttarakhand, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Met department said cold day to severe cold day occurred at most places over Punjab, many places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. The lowest minimum temperature observed in the plains of Northwest India was 2.8 degree Celsius, recorded at Churk in Uttar Pradesh.<br />”&nbsp;<br />”Talking to Akashvani News, Senior Scientist in Indian Meteorological Department, RK Jenamani said dense fog may develop tomorrow morning over a few places over the Northern plains but the duration and intensity will reduce in the next two days.
