Dense fog in early hours today disrupted flights at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for seven hours. The flights resumed around 10 a.m. Flights on both domestic and international routes remained suspended on Wednesday morning. The airport authorities told News agency that three international flights including a cargo plane were diverted to Kolkata. There was no flight on the domestic route during this period.<br />'' <br />'' Fog disrupted flights for many hours in the early morning time on Monday and Tuesday also at the Dhaka airport. Flight services at the Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport were also disrupted today in the morning hours due to dense fog.<br />'' <br />'' Dense fog has also affected the operations of ferry services in the country. The authorities suspended ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route on Padma river at 5:00 a.m. today due to poor visibility. Several hundred vehicles remained stranded on both sides of the river. Ferry services were affected on Monday also due to foggy conditions.The capital city Dhaka woke up to a very foggy morning today which cleared up around 10 a.m.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Bangladesh has been in the grip of a mild cold wave. Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and some regions of Jashore and Kushtia are reported to be facing the cold wave since last few days. On Tuesday the country's highest temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf and the lowest temperature of 7.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.<br />
