<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Dense fog, cold wave and cold day conditions are continuing in different parts of the country particularly in the Northern parts. Talking to Akashvani News, Senior Scientist in the IMD R K Jenamani said, cold is continuing because El-Nino is still continuing over the eastern equatorial Pacific. He said, rainfall has been very less in December and in January there was no precipitation over western Himalayas or northern plains of the country. Mr Jenamani said, western disturbances were also very weak. He said, prolonged dense fog conditions are prevailing because of these reasons.</p>
