Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu progressed to the quarter-final in the women's singles of the Denmark Open Super Series Premier in Odense today.Two-time World Championship bronze medallist Sindhu defeated Russia's Ksenia Polikarpova 21-17, 21-19 in their first ever match. Later, playing at the Odense Sports Park, Parupalli Kashyap and Kidambi Srikanth also entered the quarter finals in men' singles. While Kashyap defeated Indonesia's K.D.Hayom Rumbaka 21-17, 17-21, 22-20, Srikanth beat Chinese Taipei's Jen Hao Hsu 21-15, 21-12 . Seventh seed Saina Nehwal will play her quarter-final women's singles match later in the day. She will take on Japan's Minatsu Mitani.
