India's shuttle queen and London Olympics bronze medallist Saina Nehwal has stormed into the Women's Singles quarterfinals of the Denmark Open Super Series Badminton tournament at Odense defeating Minatsu Mitani of Japan in straight games, 21-15, 21-14. Saina will today clash with fifth seed Tine Baun of Denmark for a place in the semi-finals.However, in the Men's Singles, Sourabh Verma crashed out of the tournament after losing to Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia, 19-21, 17-21.
