Union Health Ministry has ordered an inquiry into the incident involving death of child in Delhi due to dengue following which his parents committed suicide.<br/><br/>The seven year old child died of suspected dengue on 8th of this month after allegedly being denied admission at two prominent private hospitals of the city the previous day.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Health Minister J P Nadda said that he has sought an immediate report from the Delhi government over the incident.<br/><br/>Mr Nadda said, adequate arrangements of beds and wards have been made in the hospitals for the treatment of the disease.<br/><br/>He said, the protocols shared by the Centre with States in this regard must be followed.<br/><br/>Meanhwile, Delhi Government has issued show-cause notice to two private hospitals, Moolchand Hospital and Saket City Hospital for their refusal to admit the child.<br/><br/>In the notice, Director, Health Services has asked the hospital to reply within a month.<br/><br/>Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said a thorough probe will be conducted in the matter and those found guilty will be punished.<br/><br/>The parents of the child committed suicide by jumping from a four-storeyed building in south Delhi's Lado Sarai.<br/><br/>The deceased were identified as Laxmichandra and Babita Rout, both natives of Odisha.<br/><br/>According to Delhi police, the couple has left behind a one-page suicide note in which they wrote that it is nobody's fault and the decision was theirs.<br/><br/>The couple's bodies were discovered by a neighbour on the intervening night between Thursday and Friday.<br/><br/>The police have initiated an inquest proceeding into the incident under Section 174 CrPC.
