In Pakistan, people in many cities and big towns have been badly affected by dengue fever. According to the World Health Organization, there are 2,726 confirmed Dengue virus cases in Pakistan.Nearly 2000 cases of dengue have been reported in Punjab province alone, one more person died today in the province due to dengue fever. Six persons have died in Lahore so far due to the deadly disease. Reports of fresh cases of Dengue are pouring in everyday. Hospitals are overcrowded with dengue patients. Hundreds of patients have been admitted to Lahore General Hospital alone. In Sindh province, nearly 30 cases of dengue virus have been reported. Islamabad reported nearly 30 confirmed dengue virus cases so far.
