Dengue death toll increases to 26, in Odisha

In Odisha, the death toll due to dengue has increased to 26. According to official sources, 58 more people have been tested positive for dengue, taking the total affected by the mosquito-borne virus to 1253. As many as 509 of the 1253 patients who tested dengue positive belong to Angul district, which has been worst hit by the mosquito-borne virus. Dengue cases have been reported from 24 of the state’s 30 districts.
