Dengue claims seven lives in North Odisha

In North Odisha, Dengue has claimed at least seven lives in the first half of the current month. Angul is one among the worst hit districts where seven people died and hundreds are suffering from the disease. People from Bolangir, Sundergarh, Jajpur and Mayurbanj districts are also reported of suffering from dengue.The state health minister Dr Prasana Acharya said that there is nothing to be frightened of dengue as the state government is taking all possible steps to check the outbreak of dengue into other districts. He said three medical teams from the Cuttack SCB medical college have dispatched to the affected areas.
