Bihar government has issued alert after dengue claimed 12 lives in Munger and Begusarai districts of the state. Over 100 persons are suffering from Dengue in Patna, Munger, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur and Nalanda districts. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the situation with senior officials yesterday and directed district administration to take necessary steps to prevent reeding of mosquito.
