Dengue cases crossed 1,500 in Delhi today. The civic authorities have issued an ultimatum to the striking mosquito breeding checkers. MCD Public Health Committee Chairman V K Monga said if they fail to return to work by tomorrow evening they will face sacking. The breeding checkers are demanding regularisation of their contract jobs and their strike entered the fourth day today.
