Russia has lodged a protest over cash shortage, affecting the functioning of its embassy in New Delhi. Russian Ambassador Alexander Kadakin has asked External Affairs Ministry to intervene to get restrictions on Cash withdrawal by Russian Diplomats lifted.<br/><br/>He has written to the ministry that embassy's normal functioning is getting impacted with the inadequate amount limit of 50 thousand per week. Senior Russian embassy official in New Delhi said that they hope the issue is resolved quickly. <br/><br/>Ministry of External Affairs had said, it has approached Department of Economic Affairs over the issues and is awaiting a decision by the Finance Ministry regarding it.
