The Delimitation Commission today held a meeting to seek views on the delimitation process of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''During the meeting, the members appreciated the Commission's efforts and suggested that delimitation of constituencies shall be practicable. They also suggested that attention must be given to physical features, existing boundaries of administrative units, facilities of communication and public convenience. They also stressed that special attention must be given to difficult terrains while carrying out the delimitation exercise.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In the meeting, an overview on the process of delimitation based on the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 and Delimitation Act, 2002 was presented before the members. Delimitation Commission comprises of Chairperson Retired Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra, State Election Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, K.K Sharma and Associate Members namely Dr. Jitendra Singh, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Dr Farooq Abdullah, Mohammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi.</span><br />
