Delhi's overall Air quality is expected to improve in the coming days. Overall Air Quality Index, AQI in the national capital was recorded at 254 in the evening, as against 162 yesterday. This is an increase of 92 index value. <br />''<br />''The Sub-Committee for invoking actions under the Graded Response Action Plan of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas met today to take stock of the current air quality scenario of Delhi-NCR. <br />''<br />''During the meeting, Met department informed that dust raising strong winds flowing across Haryana and Delhi since early this morning has increased particulate matter concentration significantly. The Sub-Committee noted this to be an exceptional episodic event which has led to continual dispersion of dust in the ambient air over entire Delhi-NCR. <br />''<br />''It also noted that the situation is likely to improve in one or two days, with rain expected on 18th of this month. The Sub-Committee is keeping a close watch on the situation and will review the air quality scenario of Delhi-NCR accordingly.<br />
