Delhi's air quality continues to be in severe category

<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi's air quality continues to be in the severe category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 423 this morning.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">An AQI between 401 and 500 is considered as severe. The level of PM 2.5 – which stands for particles in the air with a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometres – was recorded at 290. PM 10 was recorded at 465.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The city government's transport department has already banned the entry of heavy and medium goods vehicles in the city from Thursday night till Monday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">More than 450 heavy and medium goods vehicles were sent back from Delhi borders yesterday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Vehicles carrying vegetables, fruits, grains, milk, eggs, ice and other essentials, and tankers carrying petroleum products have been exempted from the ban.</span><br />''
