Delhiites experienced a windy morning today bringing slight respite from the hot weather conditions. Yesterday was the hottest day of the season in the city so far, with the mercury crossing the 40 degree mark. The maximum settled at 40.5 degrees, three notches above average. The minimum temperature this morning was 25 degree celsius which is normal for this time of the year. The Met department predicts hot weather conditions to prevail in the coming days with the mercury likely to hover around 40 degrees.
