Delhi will soon have its own world-class plants nursery. In this direction, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena has instructed Delhi Development Authority to put forth a plan of action with a concrete timeline within a week. Mr. Saxena today went on a site inspection of various locations across the National Capital. A 25-acre plot situated in Khoja Wala Bagh, Ashok Vihar in Delhi, has been identified to conceptualize the nursery.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The proposed nursery once developed will have different varieties of indigenous, medicinal, exotic, ecology, and topography-compliant flora available for use by government agencies as well as the citizens. It will also house landscaped greens, a cafeteria, walkways, public utilities, and an inherent flower display that would serve as a recreational destination and tourist attraction for people of the City and visitors.<br />
