The Delhi Traffic Police has launched a special drive against the errant auto-rickshaw drivers who overcharge and also misbehave with passengers. According to Delhi Police, in its special drive more than 1300 auto-rickshaws drivers were challaned and 161 vehicles impounded. A total amount of over 88 thousand rupees was also recovered from the drivers for indulging in serious violations. They include permit violation, driving without uniform, over charging and driving without license.
