India were 245 for two at tea on the opening day of the third cricket Test against Sri Lanka at Feroz Shah Kotla ground, Delhi. Murali Vijay (101) and skipper Virat Kohli (94) were at the crease for the hosts. Kohli became the 11th Indian to get to the 5000-run mark in Tests. India lost opener Shikhar Dhawan (23), who became off- spinner Dilruwan Perera's 100th Test victim, and Cheteshwar Pujara (23) in the morning session.Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat.This is the third and final Test of the 3-match series. The first match at Kolkata had ended in a draw. In the second Test at Nagpur hosts defeated the visitors.
