Security agencies conducted a mock drill at Vaishali Metro station in the national capital region yesterday as part of counter-terror preparations in view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebrations on 26th of this month.<br/><br/>The drill was organised by the CISF which is tasked with the security of the Delhi Metro. A senior security official said, a total of 167 personnel were involved in the mock drill. <br/><br/>Besides CISF, multiple agencies such as, the National Security Guard, Delhi Metro and the National Disaster Response Force took part in the drill. Bomb disposal teams, dog squads, traffic police and medical reinforcements were also part of the drill.
