Delhi prepares agenda on climate change in line with PM's National Action Plan

The Delhi government has prepared a climate change agenda for the coming three years. The monograph has been prepared in line with the Prime Minister's National Action Plan for climate change . Inaugurating the agenda, the environment and forest minister Mr Jairam Ramesh said the government is making all out efforts to make the capital look greener. <br/>Delhi chief minister Ms Sheila Dikshit said the government is giving thrust on enhanced energy efficiency, sustainable habitat, water mission and solar mission to combat climate change. <br/>The chief secretary Mr Rakesh Mehra said 65 important climate change agenda have been identified for the city to be implemented by the various departments of the Delhi government.<br/>
