Delhi Government has expressed the hope that the present power crisis in the national capital will be resolved in a couple of days. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Delhi Power Minister Haroon Yusuf said that he has asked the National Power Thermal Corporation, NTPC to restore the power supply so that required demand of power can be met. He said that the load shedding is being done in the city due to unplanned over drawal by neighbouring states resulting in frequency disturbances. He said, shortage of coal and water supply in various power generation plant also led to the low generation of power. Mr. Yusuf also said that government is taking all possible steps to ensure power supply in various parts of the city.
