The Delhi Police has stopped Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's car from proceeding towards Union Home Ministry at North Block in New Delhi to protest and seek action against some police personnel.
Our correspondent reports, the car was stopped at Rail Bhavan where the police told Mr Kejriwal that he cannot move ahead as Section 144 has been imposed in the area. Mr Kejriwal has refused to leave the place and is still there.
The Delhi Chief Minister and his cabinet ministers want to protest outside Home Ministry against the police personnel for refusing to take action ordered by the Delhi Law Minister against the alleged sex and drug ring.
Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has said that the action against Delhi Police personnel will be taken only
after inquiry.
