Delhi Police rejects permission for Anna Hazare's indefinite fast

Delhi Police today rejected permission for Anna Hazare's indefinite fast in the National Capital. Talking to All India Radio, Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said that the affidavit submitted by Hazare team was incomplete as they did not restrict themselves to the time limit of three days and the number of protestors to 5,000. The police move to reject the application came soon after the Hazare team submitted an undertaking leaving six out of the 22 conditions laid out by Delhi Police for granting permission for the fast at the park.
