Delhi Police today ordered an inquiry into the purported assault on protesters demonstrating over the suicide of Hyderabad University student Rohith Vemula near the RSS office in the city on Saturday. Talking to reporters, Police Chief B S Bassi said he has asked Joint Commissioner of Police, Central Delhi to find out whether there was any indiscretion in the incident.<br/><br/>A video clip has came in public domain in which male Police and some men who are not in uniform are being alleged seen assaulting on girl students. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked city police over the incident. In a tweet, he alleged that the police is being used by the BJP to teach lesson to opponents.
