<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana has said the city police is engaged in preparing itself in dealing with all kinds of future challenges to emerge in the next ten years. Addressing an annual press conference, Mr. Asthana said, Delhi Police has prepared the action plans 2022, 2024, and 2030 in this regard.  During the 75 the Raising Day Parade of Delhi Police, Home Minister Amit Shah had asked it to prepare a roadmap to fill up the gaps if any in the next five years in areas including investigation, challenges posed by terrorism and cyber crimes, and where this force stands when it will celebrate its centenary year.<br />''<br />''Mr. Asthana also said, the city police is working with full commitment to provide a safe and secure environment to the citizens. Referring to various initiatives taken towards better policing, the Police Chief said, due to the merger of Police Stations with PCR service, the response time in attending the distress calls has reduced significantly, and now the response time has come down to 4.3 minutes from the earlier time of 7.5 minutes. He said, besides, motor vehicle theft, people can now do online registration of e-FIR for house theft and burglary too.<br />''<br />''He said, innovative technologies are being used to improve service delivery as well as expeditious disposal of cases related to crimes. Mr. Asthana informed that under safe city project, 10 thousand CCTVs cameras will be added in addition to the existing network of more than 15 thousand CCTVs cameras.<br />''<br />''Mr. Asthana said, Delhi Police has been taking several Community Policing initiatives across the city for better Police Public bonding. He said, at present 17 Community Policing initiatives are operational. Delhi Police has deployed five thousand 983 police personnel and 790 vehicles from PCR Unit to Police Stations for better performance and redressal to distress calls.  The police chief said, Delhi Police has conducted a massive crackdown on Cyber Crime with Operation Cyber Prahaar during COVID-19 second wave and has also ramped up its mechanism to effectively tackle Financial Cyber Fraud.</span><br />
