<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava, visited various parts of Delhi today to take stock of the execution of Weekend Curfew orders. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The areas toured include, Akshardham, Ghazipur Crossing, Maharajpur Check Post, NH 24 Anand Vihar, Krishna Nagar, New Ushmanpur, Signature Bridge, Majanu Ka Tilla, ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Rajghat and Tilak Marg.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Police personnel were found wearing all safety gears.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A vigorous awareness by using PA system and Flexi informative boards for general public at various places were also seen on ground.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During interaction with the field functionaries, Delhi Police Commissioner reiterated to enforce the weekend curfew instructions in letter and spirit.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The staff was emphasised upon to be firm and polite while checking persons and vehicles.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, strict action is to be taken against those found willfully disobeying the weekend curfew instructions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, he emphasized that the needy and genuine persons must be dealt with compassionately and their hassle-free movement be facilitated.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Special Commissioner of Police/ Law and Order, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranges, DCPs of the areas, who were supervising the police arrangements, accompanied the Commissioner of Police.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Deployment of forces at pickets, patrolling duty, market or mall and other vulnerable places and announcement on public address systems were found to be in action.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In addition to local police, Central Armed Police Forces were also deployed to bolster the strength of local police and ensure optimal police visibility on the streets.</span><br />''  <br />
