Delhi Police today celebrated its 63rd raising day parade at parade ground in the national capital. Speaking at a function, the Leutinent Governor of Delhi Mr Tejender Khanna said that Delhi Police has performed outstanding duties in maintaining law and order and security across the city. He underlined the need for a better coordination among the police and citizen so that people can have more confidence in security personnel. He said that at present, 155 police stations are operational in the city and the centre has also sanctioned for setting up other stations for which work is going on. Mr Khanna also awarded police medal to 49 police personnel including officers for their outstanding performance.<br/>
