Delhi Police has unearthed a racket by arresting five persons allegedly involved in leaking of a paper for All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, post graduate medical entrance examination.
They were arrested on Sunday while the entrance test conducted by AIIMS for filling 50 per cent of PG seats in government medical colleges across the country was going on at various centres.
Briefing reporters, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Ashok Chand said that the arrested include a doctor and an MBBS student.
He said, the mastermind of the gang Mohit Choudhary was arrested from Pragati Maidan following a trap on a specific tip off.
He said that the gang, which charged 25 to 35 lakh rupees from aspirants, used a sophisticated software to email images of the question paper.
