Unwilling to take any chance, Delhi Police has further beefed up the sucurity cover in the national capital in the wake of the threat perception of terror attack. According to Delhi Police, over 20,000 police personnel have been deployed across the city to conduct extensive searches of vehicles, suspicious people andpremises across the capital. The police is already on high alert following last week's bomb blast outside the Delhi High Court. Police have also intensified checking at border points of the national capital. Shopping mall operators have also been asked to step up their security system.
