Delhi Police has accorded high priority to the safety and security of women. Addressing media, Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi said various steps have been taken in this direction including launch of Himmat mobile Application through which women can seek immediate assistance from the police during distress. <br/><br/>Mr Bassi also pitched for making self defence training compulsory for girl students in schools so that they can protect themselves during offenses. He said, the effort of the Delhi Police is to register an FIR in all cases whether it is serious or non- serious. Mr Bassi said, the police discharges its duty with full professionalism to solve the cases related to heinous and non- heinous crimes.
