The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation started trial run on the 5 kilometer long Sarita Vihar to Badarpur section. The stretch has three stations Mohan Estate, Tughlakabad and Badarpur. The 15 kilometer long Central Secretariat – Sarita Vihar corridor of this line is already operational since 3rd October. Train services on the line will be extended till Badarpur after the successful completion of the trial runs followed by the clearance from the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety.
