Delhi may risk upto 25 percent of total water supply in coming days: Satyendar Jain

<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain today said deliberations are being held as the canals from Bhakra dam in Punjab will be closed for a month. Talking to media in New Delhi, Mr Jain said it can risk upto 25 percent of the total water supply of Delhi. He assured that in case of any shortage of water in Delhi, all areas will be equally deprived of the resource.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The closure of Nangal hydel channel for repair for one month  is expected to cause water crisis in Delhi. Water flows from Bhakra dam, which is in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, downstream to the Nangal dam where it is controlled and released into the Nangal hydel channel.</span>
