With the minimum temperature dipping to 6.5 degree celsius on Monday morning, the cold conditions again intensified in the national capital region. The maximum temperature settled to 14.6 degree celsius which is 6 degree celsius below normal.The Met department attributed the cold conditions due to icy winds blowing from snow-capped mountains in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.<br/><br/>Talking to AIR, the Met Director, Mr R C Vasistha said that northern parts of the country including Delhi , J and K ,Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may experience light to moderate rainon Tuesday.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that flight operations at the IGI airport remained normal on Monday as there was no dense fog and the visibility was 1000 meters.<br/><br/> However, due to the foggy conditions in the northen India, train operations were affected resulting in the cancellation of two trains, Sachkand and Shan-e- Punjab Express and delaying more than 20 trains.
