Delhi Lt Governor to give his report on follow-up action after resignation of Aam Aadmi Party Government

Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung is expected to give his report to the Centre today on the follow-up action in the wake of resignation of the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party Government. Sources said, he would give his report on the situation to the President through the Union Home Ministry for final decision on whether to bring the national capital under a spell of Central rule or dissolve the House for holding elections along with Lok Sabha polls as recommended by the outgoing Cabinet. The Lt Governor will send a factual report along with the resignation of the Government and the Cabinet's recommendation.

Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Delhi Chief Minister Friday night as his government failed to introduce its ambitious Jan Lokpal Bill in the Assembly due to lack of majority.

Aam Aadmi Party, AAP, today made it clear that it will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. AAP leader Yogendra Yadav told this to reporters in New Delhi.
