<span style="color: #222222;">Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal today reviewed law and order situation in the national capital with Commissioner of Police and Principal Secretary, Home.<br />'' <br />'' He instructed city police for effective peripheral control in containment zones, enforcement action for not wearing masks in public, and not following social distancing norms, as per rules.<br />'' <br />''Mr Baijal also instructed the police to continue the strict vigil at state borders and coordination with central agencies for maintenance of security and law and order.</span>

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung today reviewed the Law and Order situation in the national capital at high level meeting. During the meeting, which was attended by Police Commissioner B S Bassi and other senior officials, Mr Jung also reviewed the action taken by the police in the wake of the the recent clashes in the different parts of the city.

He instructed the officials to improve intelligence gathering to prevent such incidents in future. During the meeting, Mr Bassi said, Delhi Police is taking all precautions to prevent recurrence of such incidents, adding that Aman Committees have also been activated.
