In Rajasthan, rail traffic has been restored on Jaipur-Delhi and Jaipur-Agra sections, after the Gujjar protestors lifting their dharna in Manota near Dausa. Earlier senior police and administrative officers held talks with the agitators and persuaded them to lift the dharna, as the government was ready to fulfill their demands. But in Pilupura, the dharna led by Col. Kirodi Singh Bainsla is continuing disrupting the Delhi-Mumbai traffic for tenth consecutive day today. The Chief Minister has again appealed the Gujjar Leaders to call off their agitation and come forward for talks to arrive at a solution to the reservation issue. On tenth day of the Gujjar agitation on Wednesday, the government got a big success when it was successful in persuading the Gujjar protestors to lift dharna on railway tracks in Manota. After repairing the track, trainservices between Jaipur Delhi and Agra have been resorted. Cases against Ex. MLA Hem Singh Bhadana and others have been registered for obstructing and damaging the tracks. The Gujjar agitators also organised bandh in Dholpur, Kota, Baran and Bundi districts. The Bandh emerged mixed response at some places while it was total in other towns. The Delhi-Mumbai rail section and Jaipur-Agra national highway are still blocked throwing the rail and road services out of gear.
