Preparations are in full swing to celebrate Id-Ul-Azha on Saturday. Markets in the national capital particularly in old Delhi areas near Jama Masjid are decked up and bustling with activities with people making last minute purchases. The President and the Vice President have greeted the people. In her message, Ms Pratibha Devisingh Patil hoped that the festival may strengthen the unity and harmony in the country. Mohd Hamid Ansari said that this festival commemorates the spirit of sacrifice shown by Prophet Ibrahim and reaffirms the truth that from man’s complete willingness to sacrifice springs divine grace and compassion.<br/>
