Delhi Health Minister appeals people to celebrate Holi at home to avoid COVID-19 infection

<span style="color: #222222;">Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has appealed to people of the City to celebrate Holi at home with their family and avoid public gathering and warned to take severe action on those found celebrating Holi in public. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the Delhi government is deploying various teams to oversee restrictions measures on public gatherings at Holi.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Jain said, lockdown is no solution to COVID-19 as it was not very effective.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that Delhi Government is doing 90 thousand Covid tests daily and it is 5 times more than the country's average.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that 80 percent of general and ICU beds in Covid hospitals are empty, beds will be increased if needed.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Jain said, random testing is being done at railway stations and airports on people coming from outside. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the reason for the rise of the Corona case is not known, so everyone has to follow all the safety measures.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, people should wear masks in public places even if they have been vaccinated.</span><br />''  <br />
