The Delhi High Court has upheld the order of a single judge bench terming Air India pilots strike as illegal.
The court came down heavily on the agitating pilots and said that the pilots cannot willfully and frequently disobey its orders.
A two judge bench of the court said the striking pilots can be tried for offence of contempt of court by the single Judge Bench.
On the other hand, the Indian Pilots guild has said that it is taking legal opinion on the way ahead.
The pilots are agitating over the rescheduling of Boeing 787 dreamliner training and matters relating to their career progression.
