Delhi High court today agreed to hear plea against grant of flying licence to AirAsia India by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. AirAsia India was on Wednesday granted the licence by DGCA to start its operations in India, subject to the final decision of the Delhi High Court. The airlines is a joint venture between AirAsia and Tata Group. A PIL is pending before the high court over granting of approval to AirAsia India, though the court has denied an interim stay on the matter.
