The Delhi High Court today stayed the operation of February 12 Delhi Cabinet's decision on providing 50 per cent waiver on power arrears of people who did not pay their electricity bills from October 2012 to December 2013. A two judge bench issued notice to the Delhi government and directed it to file an affidavit stating its current stand on March 18, the next date of hearing.
