The Delhi High Court issued notice to the CBI on the former Telecom Minister, A. Raja’s petition that challenged the framing of charges against him in the 2G spectrum allocation case. Justice A.K. Pathak asked the CBI yesterday to file a reply by September 6, next date of hearing.
Meanwhile the Supreme Court will begin hearing from today the Centre's Presidential Reference seeking its opinion on various issues arising out of the apex court's 2G spectrum case verdict including whether auctioning of natural resources across all sectors is mandatory.
